Richard “Rick” Isaiah is a recent graduate of the University of Toledo. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies, December 2008. While he has goals to pursue a career mentoring youth through sports, his passion is in theatre. Rick is driven by faith and is confident that God has given him a vision to accomplish his dream, which is to be a well established and renowned writer. He is a very talented writer, director, actor/comedian, and singer/songwriter. While balancing the challenges of being a full-time student, working, and serving his church through his musical talents, Richard Isaiah found time to embrace his zeal for writing. After three years of writing and revising, he completed his first major stage play- When Life Hurts. He was instrumental in writing the script and all of the lyrics to seven original songs that will be performed in the production. In addition to the time that he has already dedicated to this play, Rick is also serving as an actor and the executive director. As he strives to expose his vision to the public through this project and future pieces, he hopes to inspire people to escape from the stresses of life and learn to simply enjoy it.
